Slovenia 1 - Ljubljana & Bled

Slovenia was breathtakingly beautiful. Even from the plane. It was fresh air and crazy gorges, with amazing lakes and dreamy sceneries. Nature everywhere, everywhere you looked. And a sense of being so small in comparison to the magnificient beauty of Nature. There's definitely nothing like walking in the forest, guided by the sound of running water and sensing how your body breathes in and out air, how it feels the touch of leaves and the temperature go down the deeper you go into the forest. ( just to make sure you realise how amazing it was, there's no edit at all on those pictures. ZERO). Now you can all save up and book a ticket for Slovenia and head off to Bled. do it!

  1. I have a very (very!) distance relative in Slovenia, and I visited him there in 2005. The air, the mountains, the water. Completely out of this world.

  6. Wow! Very nice place! Hope to visit there someday..haha
Btw, may I know the name of the park or forest in your last photo? The one where you're stepping on the rocks and beside the lake.
    Looks like fun out there!

  7. The pictures are absolutely gorgeous. Would love to visit Slovenia some day.

Just skimmed through your blog and I wanted to say I relate to you in more than a few ways. I have recently been to a lot of Japanese cities (Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Okinawa) and absolutely loved these places. Hiked a few natural trails and went to a lot of beaches as I find peace in nature. My greatest fears, like you, include crowds, public speaking, and physical contact (yes, I am asexual too). That's how I found your videos. I identify myself as a highly sensitive person so that may be the cause of migraines occassionally. I am a girl (aged 23) from Hong Kong and also a feminist, a nature lover, an LGBT and human rights activist and an avid traveler. Although I like Japan a lot, my dream is to move to America, a place I connect with, more so after the study-abroad program last year. By the way, my best friend of more than 5 years dumped me last year and I resonated a lot with your video about friendships and growing up.

Recently I have been facing some rejections and uncertainties in the future, and I just want to say thank you for your youtube videos and blogposts. They just took my mind off and reminded me yet again how beautiful the world is. What you do is of great value. Your videos and blogposts absolutely inspired me and let me know there are people like me out there. I also learnt more about veganism (thanks to you). I feel incredibly sorry for the shootings in Paris last week and was so glad to find that you are safe. Sending you and your city lots of love.
